Best Self Help Books When You're in a Rut!
Today I just wanted to take a moment to share with all of you my top three favorite books for self help. Its been a crazy year and sometimes anxiety and depression can really creep up and take over all your thoughts.
I have found that listening to a podcast, reading a book, or even watching a good self help movie can give me the tools and motivation to really take control and change these thoughts.
These are to date my most favorite books that have helped me and my mental state immensely.
1. Louise Hay “You Can Heal Your Life”
Louise Hay is by far my favorite author, speaker, etc. I listen to her morning and night videos every single day, as they completely ease my mind and help me unload the day. Her “You Can Heal Your Life” movie and book also comes as a workbook which is honestly very deep and not for anyone not looking to completely transform their life. I personally have done this book and it did wonders to my mental health by allowing me to let go of the past and things I can no longer control. I am now working through the same book a second time to really clear any lingering feelings of resentment in my subconscious.
2. You are a Badass
The second book that I would recommend over and over that is a little more mainstream is, “You Are A Badass”, this book really puts an emphasis on the way you think and and act and how that dictates your entire life. I have read this book about three times because I was so obsessed with it and the message is super clear, while also being an easy read.
3. The Four Agreements
Lastly but certainly not least is the four agreements. This is a must read for anyone who needs a refresher for how best to carry themselves throughout their life and how much their words affect others. He is a world famous author and this book is rated as one of the top books in the world.
